A crisis is a time-limited emotional reaction to an unexpected and perhaps harmful event or transition. There are many kinds of crises, but they can include: 1) Thoughts of killing oneself; 2) Psychiatric emergencies; 3) Traumatic stress; or 4) Transitional stresses. The resources, for both specific and general crises, below can help you get the information and services you need to cope with a crisis.
If you feel that you, or anyone else, is in immediate danger, please call 911.
